Complete Renovation for Houseboat Alexa Mae

Alexa Mae had an unfortunate incident which resulted in half of her sinking in the river Thames. Because of this, the houseboat had to be completely gutted and refurbished. Since April our team have been working on rebuilding the interior, including fitting new wiring and installing new entertainment, IT systems and a hybrid engine.

Six month project

On all of our pool and jacuzzi refurbishments.

The latest silver ion water treatment has been known to cause some black staining in the jacuzzis and pools on yachts.  After further investigation and consultation with chemical specialists, it was discovered that silver ion dissolved in fresh water onboard a yacht can cause a reaction with the titanium dioxide in the white pigment in most gelcoats which caused this black staining.  After extensive testing, we have found that the final layer of ceramic coating treatment creates a barrier that eliminates this while creating a surface that is easy to clean.
